Landscape
The landscape projects of Buro Lubbers are inspired by the specific qualities of the place, such as for example typical changes in altitude levels, soil and water, flora and fauna, cultural history, etc. On the premises that (cultural) landscape is already continuously changing, these qualities motivate new transformations. Respecting the specific characteristics of a place a new identity is being created with an open perspective towards the future. If the project requires, Buro Lubbers does not hesitate to carefully add new functions to an existing landscape, such as living, working, recreation, nature development… The integrated and multidisciplinary approach thus creates a sustainable landscape framework, a sound base for urban future developments.
